Sustainability

The Samadhi Centre is deeply committed to sustainability and preserving the environment. They use locally produced and organic ingredients in their food, and support local farmers as much as possible. They also compost and grow much of their medicinal herbs and food on the property, and the buildings have been built with repurposed wood, antiques, and mostly natural materials.

In addition to their commitment to low energy consumption, they use oil lamps to light their dining rooms at night, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. The Samadhi Centre also recognizes the importance of preserving the natural habitat for wildlife and has taken measures to ensure their preservation. They have hired local builders, artisans, weavers, cooks, gardeners, and hospitality staff from nearby villages, providing employment opportunities and contributing to the local economy. The Samadhi Centre is dedicated to creating as little waste as possible, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and respect for the natural world.

As a business we are committed to supporting the local economy and providing employment opportunities for people from the nearby villages. He believes in giving back to the community and works closely with the locals, sourcing materials and labor from the area whenever possible.
